Our Mission is to execute well organized road races that provide an out of this world participant experience, highlight the rich space history in our area, and give back to the local community.

Space Coast Marathon is celebrating its 55th year in 2026, making it the oldest marathon in the state of Florida. We invite runners and walkers alike to experience one of the most beautiful USATF certified waterfront courses on the east coast of Florida.

Our event starts in the historic and quaint Cocoa Village, and finishes along the river in Cocoa Riverfront Park where family and friends can cheer and watch your finish.

As our race is held within the shadow of the Kennedy Space Center, the entire event revolves around a space theme sure to delight and energize our participants.

2026 Mission

Juno - Jupiter
Launched on August 5, 2011, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, Juno was sent to study Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. Orbiting Jupiter in a highly elliptical polar orbit, Juno investigates the planet’s atmosphere, magnetic field, gravity, and internal structure. The mission has transformed our understanding of Jupiter’s composition and revealed striking details about its powerful storms and auroras.

Juno is the first mission in the 2026-2029 New Frontiers Series.
